A Gardener's Delight

I love tulips. I keep seeing them around lately. They are exceedingly popular flowers but I still love them. I think the best part about them is the color. They have so many varieties that they always liven up whatever garden they are planted in. Truly a gardener's delight. They were popular in Persia centuries ago, with poetry written about their beauty. There are festivals held throughout the world dedicated to this delicate flower.

Day 111

PS: I know that I am behind on picture uploads. School work and such has been particularly time consuming. I am planning on getting back on track quickly. Sorry about that. :)

They Fascinate Me

Geese always make me smile. Knowing that they take care of each other is reassuring. I'm not saying I want to be a goose. But it is really cool to watch these animals interact. They fascinate me.

Day 110

Kids Know How To Live

A little girl capture my imagination. I had an awesome time babysitting this past week. I always have claimed that I never want to have kids. I think I was lying to myself. There is something infinitely pleasing when you can help a child learn or play dress up. It takes you back to the days of your wild imagination. Maybe I just haven't grown up yet. Whatever the case, kids really know how to live.

Day 109

Another Tree

Lately, the trees have been particularly photogenic. Maybe I just really want to go back to my childhood and climb. Or maybe they're waking up again for Spring and releasing a desire to capture their rebirth. Either way, I really like them right now.

Day 108

My Favorite Tree

This is my favorite tree. Not really sure why. It just makes me happy when I see it.
