While it is a little nerve wracking to see these issues, I'm still super excited for my wedding. Winter weddings always seem so magical.

Home with the family this Thanksgiving and I sat next to my younger sister's school computer. She is 8 years old and is homeschooled through OHVA. Posted above her desk are three quotes. I feel like she has an old soul. "Wonder...is the cause of delight because it carries the hope of discovery." and "When you read, you shine a light. When you don't, you let darkness take you." This little girl is so well read it scares me. I wonder if I was ever this brilliant. I'm gonna guess no. Her artwork covers the walls and her attempts at ceramics decorate her shelf. I am so impressed everytime I see her. Her faith is evident by the statue of Mary next to her desk. Who is this person? I used to change her diapers, for crying out loud. Above is an old picture, but look at her. Would you imagine the wisdom that this zany kid imparts. Oy vey.
